What I want to be

High School and College are two very things. In High School I took college classes so it was an easier transition. Now that I am a full time student to me college seems to be so much easier then what they warned us so much about. How college was hard and you had to study all the time. But truth be told I rarely study for any of my classes because I know the information because it was what they taught us in high school. But since I know my major so it makes it much easier. Knowing that I might be able to graduate early because I plan on taking summer classes is a bonus because the closer I get to graduating the more I get exctied to move on with my life. Once you figure out what you want to do the classes get a lot easier because you actually understand the information because it's what you want in a career. And me knowing that I want to be a Dental Hygienist is amazing cause as creepy as it may sound I love teeth. I've always been interested in them since I was a kid it's almost like it's my passion. I know that I don't have perfect teeth but one day I will I'll be that 25 year old wearing braces because I couldn't afford them while I was still a kid. But once I make that move and get to where I need to be I will be the Dental Hygienist I was meant to be.

  1. It is nice to hear that high school, transitioning to college students already know what they want to go to college for. I think knowing what you want in a career is helpful when it comes to going back to school, or in your case expanding on your education. Makes you feel like it goes so much easier, because you know what your goal is. Also helps to know that higher education is obtainable and not out of reach. I unfortunately didn't go that route, but I believe I would've been unhappy. Very unhappy because when I was eighteen I had no idea what I wanted when I got out into the real world. Now I have this sense of direction and goals to help me get there. I'm glad that you are moving forward in a field that you already liked, that in is self will most likely keep you happy.

  2. Its cool to know that you also did the high school/ college option as well. I did too! So far it makes me like college and get to see what it is like. That is a good thing that you like college and that it is easier for you now. That is how I feel about it right now, because i am in post secondary right now and i am graduating this year. And by doing this i know that i will be successful next fall when i am a full time college student. Also it is awesome that you want to become a dental hygienist and love teeth, i do not think that it is that creepy at all, someone has to do it lol. But who cares if people think you have bad teeth, that shouldnt matter to them at all. Also i know alot of people who get braces in there 20s so dont worry about that at all!(:

  3. Knowing what your major is going to be probably makes picking your classes out a lot easier. With me, still not knowing what my major is, its really difficult choosing which classes to take. Good for you knowing that you wanted to be a dental hygienist for a while now :)While I'm still figuring out where things are on campus, you already know because of your post secondary last year. Good thinking :)
