In class Writting #12

In the four video's we just watched I thought it was funny how many things like movies and songs were pretty much the same thing. With songs the beats or lyrics of the songs were the same. With movies certian sence would be almost exactly the same as others. I found it odd that producers or creators could do that because it is pretty much plagiarism. They copying some one elses work and I find that wrong. It basically means that all of the worlds music and movies are just remixs of what we had back in the day. I don't understand how if in college we can't copy someone elses work with out citing it and out in the real world they can copy movie's books plays songs, and the people that do it can call it there own work, when in all honesty it's not. It seems a little unfair to me. If out in the real world people are copying everything that they can think of to make a buck, why can't college students do it to save a little down time. I don't believe in copying others work and calling it my own, because it's not right. But why is they can and we can't? I don't like it, they should have to come up with there own idea's like everyone else not remixing it and saying I didn't copy I just changed a few things up and that makes it mine. Well it's not yours, you used someone elses work and calling it your own, that's bull. Everything that's made or created she be built off of there own idea, not saying that with the Mac and other technologies was bad, they used others work to create there own. And that's not bad because there using resource, to get what they need, and they ended up creating some of the best things with out cheating.

Bored when studying

Half the time when I'm studying I try and concentrate for hours on end and I always feel like I know the information. That is until it comes down to test day, I draw a blank. It never fails. I'll work hard study harder and some how I never get the grade I want. I wish I knew why I could study like I do and know all of the important information up until I walk in that room and bomb the test. It's crazy! It drives me crazy. And it's not like I cram like I did in high school I study everyday for an hour so I can retain the information and just like that it leaves my head. I feel as if I lose focus that's why I can't ever remember the answers to the questions. But I don't know, but I'd like to so I stop freaking out before every test I have, expecting to fail because I always forget the information right as I walk on the door.

RR #4

A. O. Scott works on the New York Times as a movie critic . He would watch and review movies. One of the ones he reviewed was a James Bond movie. Scott didn't really seem to like the movie from the begining. He said that the opening song wasn't fitting for the movie at all. He claims that the song, sung by Alicia Keys and Jack White are "an intriguing duo on paper if nowhere else." Scott says that in the first chase it was "speedy and thrilling" and it left off from the previous movie.
This review was a one way opinion. He mentions his opinions on everything and it all seems to be negative toward the movie. Almost as if nothing about it was good to him. When the movie was really a great movie, he just didn't seem to really enjoy the thrill of the excitment that went on during the movie. He was very judgmental and biasised toward the movie. But even though he was very negative and was very blunt about everthing, his essay in general was very well thought out and very good in my opinion.

What I want to be

High School and College are two very things. In High School I took college classes so it was an easier transition. Now that I am a full time student to me college seems to be so much easier then what they warned us so much about. How college was hard and you had to study all the time. But truth be told I rarely study for any of my classes because I know the information because it was what they taught us in high school. But since I know my major so it makes it much easier. Knowing that I might be able to graduate early because I plan on taking summer classes is a bonus because the closer I get to graduating the more I get exctied to move on with my life. Once you figure out what you want to do the classes get a lot easier because you actually understand the information because it's what you want in a career. And me knowing that I want to be a Dental Hygienist is amazing cause as creepy as it may sound I love teeth. I've always been interested in them since I was a kid it's almost like it's my passion. I know that I don't have perfect teeth but one day I will I'll be that 25 year old wearing braces because I couldn't afford them while I was still a kid. But once I make that move and get to where I need to be I will be the Dental Hygienist I was meant to be.

In Class Prompt Smash: Bombshell

Intro:

In the hit show "Smash: Bombshell", there are nine main characters, two being the most important throughout the show, Karen (Katharine McPhee) and Ivy (Megan Hilty) both being great friends and end up having a blood bath over who should be Marilyn in the musical they were producing. The show starts off with tops and terves that confused most, making you lose focus, but it still kept you intrigued and wanting to see what would happen next. As the Musical progressed you will see that the director of the musical Derek (Jack Davenport) picked the characters that would match the parts correctly. Instead of picking the character that looked similar to the one in real life. Towards the end of the show you will see the tragedies that unfold, and making you want to know what might happen next.

Conclusion:
In the end "Smash: Bombshell", was considered an absolute hit for fans Even if the start of it was off to a rough start, but the tension would increase and make the ending amazing to all. Knowing how the whole cast of the play and how they pulled it off their parts perfectly will be amazement to you all. The show will allow you to see the story behind Marilyn Monroe and the tradagies behind her life story, and allow you and the fans to come back wanting more of the "Smash" series.

In class prompt how I met your mother

In the video it was pretty much talking about the future and what they thought and hoped it would be like. Every three years they would watch the Star Wars Trilogy and just tlak about what they wanted in ther  life. But in reality there hopes and dreams never cam true in the end. It would always be baed for one and good for the others. Until they realized that they didn't care what the future held for them anymore they were just going to let it happen and hope that everything would turn out the way that they wanted it to. Barney on of the guys was living wiht this girl and he was very biased toward women. It hurt him because he was living with this girl, telling her that since he was the man she would do whatever he wanted It didn't go over so well. It took him going to his friends for the Star Wars Trilogey to figure out that he was in the wrong for saying what he did. When he came to his senses he appologized to her and told her how he really felt how she wasn't some girl that he had in the past that he only wanted for a night, that he wanted her for a long time. After that they became a real couple. They could even fart in front of eachother, unlike before when everyday at the same time they would go outside away from eachother and do it.

Story blog

The hall was quiet until she heard a shriek of danger. It sound like someone was being attacked or worse killed. It was a day like any other, wonder the halls waiting for her next class to begin. Emily was tired and really didn't want to be at school, she just wanted to be in bed relaxing and figuring out how to make ends meet. When she heard the shriek she was frightened, there was no one around except her and she had no idea what to do. She tried finding someone to help her investigate this mysterious sound, but there was no one. She thought to her self should I ignore this and just keep going and then again the shriek came. After a couple minutes of thinking "what should I do?" she went and tried to find the aweful noise and think that maybe she could help. She wondered the halls turning every which way like she was in a maize trying to find the shrieking. After ten minutes of searching she still couldn't find the noise but it kept getting louder and louder. All she could think about was who ever it is they must be hurt pretty badly and she still didn't know what to do, except keep searching. She had finaly come to what seemed like hours of searching to find that the shrieking had stopped and that all the classes were over and that she had missed all of them trying to find whatever was making this aweful noise. So she stopped searching and went to someone who might be able to help her, the school help. She had described what she had heard and how she was worried that someone might be hurt. Billy the guy she was speaking asked her how long she had been searching and her response was "a couple hours". Emily now fraustrated that he didn't seem interested in helping her considered leaving until Billy after laughing for a few minutes said that the sound she was hearing was the heaters surounding the school. They make those noises when they have been over worked.
